Association Wide

  1. Executive Member

  2. Board Member

  3. Event Volunteers

  4. Approved Association Tournament Volunteers

  5. Organizing Committee Member & Tournament Volunteers (including Timekeepers and Scorekeepers*).

  6. GMHA Day

  7. Special Projects and Committees as approved by the GMHA Executive Board

  8. Equipment Volunteers – As approved by Equipment Manager

  9. Concession Helpers-As approved by Concession Manager

  10. Fundraising Dance/ Pub Night

  11. Pre-Teen Dances

  12. Timekeepers*

    *For Timekeepers and Scorekeepers 1 game=1 hour of volunteer time.

     

    Note: If you sign up for a volunteer position and do not show up to fulfill your obligation, you make it more difficult for the volunteers who have shown up to fulfill theirs. If do you do not show up for a volunteer position, you might not be permitted to sign up for any further positions and your cheque may be cashed.

     

    House League Team Level

  1. Team Coach (1 per team)

  2. Team Trainer (1 per team)

  3. Team Manager (1 per team)

  4. Team Assistant Coach/Assistant Trainer (2 per team)

    These five positions are the also the rostered positions for each team.

  5. Additional Team Volunteers- These may be approved at the discretion of the House League Convenor.

     

    Hockey School and Initiation Program

    1. On-Ice helpers are to be approved by appropriate convenors.  Names must be submitted to Administrator by November 1, 2016 for Insurance Coverage.

    2. Minimum Weeks assistance for On-ice Helpers is 15 Weeks for Credit of Volunteer Bond, but must commit for entire season. This is to ensure consistency in the development and progression of the athletes.

    3. IP Administrator – 1 per team (4 total) Duties include: signing in On-Ice Helpers each session, bond collections, jersey distribution, etc.

       

      Travel Team Level

  1. Team Coach (1 per team)

  2. Team Trainer (1 per team)

  3. Team Manager (1 per team)

  4. Team Assistant Coach (2 per team)

  1. Team Treasurer-We realize that each travel team may have a person as the team treasurer.

  2. Team Volunteers-These may be approved at the discretion of the V.P. Administration in consultation with Hockey Operations. Head Coaches must provide evidence in writing to support any requests.
