Grimsby Minor Hockey offers multiple programs at various levels:


Hockey School: Instructional “learn hockey” program focusing on skating fundamentals, balance, moving with equipment, etc. Targeted at children ages 4 through 6. One hour a week, Saturday mornings

IP (Initiation Program): Instructional hockey program focusing on all hockey fundamentals including skating, puck handling, balance, passing, shooting, position, team play, etc. Targeted at children 5 through 7, depending on ability. Two hours a week.

House League (Base Program): Recreational hockey program for players ages 7 through 18 (Novice, Atom, Peewee, Bantam & Midget). Targeted at children interested in playing hockey in a fun, challenging environment.

GMHA Travel Hockey
GMHA offers competitive travel hockey programs for players aged 7 (Novice) through Midget (17).  Travel hockey is targeted at children interested in playing competitive hockey throughout the Niagara region and other locations – tournaments, exhibition games, etc. Players must try-out and be selected to play on a travel team. Minimum two hours a week but typically three or more, including away games.
